The eRacer career mode. Compete on all tracks to earn credits and become the next eRacer champion.
You can compete in either amateur or professional league in this mode. In amateur mode you must finish in the top 3 to move to the next track. When you finish amateur mode, you will have unlocked all the tracks barring boy racer, and have the mantis and proteus. In pro mode you must finish in the top 2 to move to the next track and unlock the rest of the cars. The second from last race you will unlock boy racer and in the last race the sand scorcher.
Choose your favourite car and track, select the amount of AI racers you prefer and head off for some frantic AI filled racing. You can select anything from 1 to 7 AI racers but prepare to be wasted by them when you dare to use their racing line.
Arcade mode is excellent for doing your offline hotlapping because it pauses the race results which give you time to get that precious screenshot. Arcade mode also has the option to save your replay at the end off the race. Fastforward the replay to get to the save replay menu.
The downside to using arcade mode for offline hotlapping is that you have to allow one AI on the track which has collision detection.
Practise your laps on this mode. You can select a ghost car here to help you find faster racing lines.
Ghost cars are automatically saved at X:\Program Files\Rage Software\eRacer\GhostCars each ghostcar is contained inside one *.gho file which makes it easy to share them.
This was once the connection to the Rage eRacer server. Read up on how to get on the Team K-MO online server and you can use this mode to make contact and start racing online again.
Remember this mode doesn't pause at the race results so make sure you take that precious screenshot before it's gone.
Use this mode for a local lan game.
This mode is perfect for offline hotlapping because you can do races without any AI.
Remember this mode doesn't pause at the race results so make sure you take that precious screenshot before it's gone.
